This baby can monitor your heart rate as you use the computer. I’m guessing it’ll probably go up when ever you see that damn paper clip in Word, or copy and paste things to or from Word and stuff goes wrong everywhere.

MA gov. signs pharma gift reporting law

There’s a lot of good stuff in this legislation for Healthcare IT and Medical Devices in general, but everyone seems be getting stuck up in the “report gifts over $50” part of the legislation. People are already against it -and I mean, really, really against it - long letter here

Surprise, surprise. A Study: Majority of patients want EMRs but don't want to be active in making sure they are healthy. Sorta like a smoker who wants someone else to make them quit.

Pretty cool stuff. This keeps track of all the blood in the safe and allocates it to where it is needed

most, based on blood types and amount of blood!
